Our Squads & Training
Hart SC Operates a squad system from Skills based to Competitive swimming. Swimmers typically join us from Swim England Stage 6 and can remain swimming with us until their 90's in our Masters Squad.
As swimmers progress through the squad system, the number of training sessions & hrs per week increases as their skills grow. Please refer to the latest Training Schedule for more information.
Skills Squads
The entry to club swimming...
Our entry for swimmers new to competitive swimming, developing techniques across all four strokes, starts and turns, including starting to teach race skills.

Development Squad
Breaking into County swimming...
Our Middle pathway enables the transition from Skills to Performance, building on the stroke and race skills from the previous squads, whilst increasing training time to increase endurance and fitness for competitions.

Masters Squad
Just keep swimming...
Swimmers 18+ have the opportunity to join our masters squad. The Masters squad is made up of senior swimmers (18-24yr old) who want to reduce their training times but still compete in a more informal atmosphere. They are joined by Masters swimmers (25yr+) who are a mix of fitness swimmers who arent competing and swimmers who are eagerly still competing at National, European and World stage!
